Hello everyone! I am happy to announce the
arrival of our new nephew Thomas Ray Wolff weighing in at 6lbs. 13oz. and
21" long. So, he is going to be tall and skinny like his daddy. After
viewing his features, I have determined that he will be a tall, dark, and
handsome HUNK! He is so gorgeous and he is going to be such a hottie! He has
HUGE dark brown almonds for eyes and a small pointy nose with thin lips. He is
going to have high cheekbones and a chiseled chin. Can we say, "Hello Mr.
GQ!" Doesn't he sound absolutely handsome or what??? Well, actually I've
described him like an alien and that was my first impression, but hey, don't
they all look that way in the beginning? I would really have to say from the
diagrams, pictures, and movies I've seen with other aliens in them, he looks
more like one than any other baby I've seen. Most babies have scrunched up
little faces and they look all smushed. His face is flat, smooth and oval, and
his eyes are just SO BIG! They are so dark too and his nose and mouth are so
small, and he doesn't have any eyebrows! So yeah, he's an alien, but he is
ADORABLE! I've never seen a child quite like him. Ya know, some newborns look
alike, but Thomas is very distinguished and already somewhat olive toned like
my sister and me. I think he looks very Native American already and has some
dark brown hair. BEAUTIFUL! Doesn't he sound beautiful??? Well, I guess I'm a
little biased being his aunt and all.
My sister is doing well, she's on some very good painkillers so she is sailing pretty high! HAHA! Everything went very smooth, they had a little trouble regulating his heartbeat when it got closer and during the delivery, so that was a little scary, but for the most part, he and mom did GREAT! He is so quiet and doesn't move. He doesn't squirm, doesn't grimmace, and he just looks around. He doesn't yawn, doesn't smile, he hardly even blinks. I think he is going to be a shy, quiet little boy, but hey, he's not even a day old yet. I know, I know, you moms and dads out there are saying, "Just you wait 'til ya take him home! Then he'll let ya know he's arrived!" HAHAHAHA!
He was born at about 11:45pm (I wanted him born in September, not October so he cut it pretty close!) and we didn't get in to see him until like 12:30 and didn't get to bed until 1:30. Then Justin and I woke up at 4:30 this morning and left Edmond at 5:30 to make it home for work. So, we're both kinda out of it. So, that's the scoop and we'll see ya'll later! Nothin' but love for ya!
