It's Fun To Stay At The Y-M-C-A!

Do you want to know why I love working at the Y so much? THIS is why: They pass out these bookmarks that have the following words written on them, to every person who inquires about a new membership. This is so cool! On the front of the bookmark it says: "Strong To The Finish. 'Finish the race' -Acts 20:24 '...if only I may finish the race and complete the take the Lord Jesus has given me -- the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.' Then on the back it says: "God's Winning Game Plan Realize God is holy and perfect; we are sinners and cannot save ourselves. Recognize who Jesus is and what He's done as our substitute. Repent by turning to God from sin. Receive Jesus Christ by faith as Savior and Lord. Respond to Jesus Christ in a life of obedience. Does God's plan make sense to you? Are you willing to repent and receive Jesus Christ? If so, express to God your need for Him. If you're not sure what to say, consider 'Suggested Prayer of Commitment' below. Remember that God is more concerned with your attitude than with the words you say. 'Lord Jesus, I need you. I realize I'm a sinner, and I can't save myself. I need your mercy. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I repent of my sins and put my faith in you as Savior and Lord. Take control of my life, and help me to follow you in obedience. In Jesus' name. Amen' '...if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved...for, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'--Romans 10:9,13"
Any questions? This is the gospel that has just been shared with you along with the rest of the world. If you never have accepted Jesus, then you have just heard the truth proclaimed as simply as it could ever be said. Forget all the questioning, doubting, arguing, debating, dissecting, and intellectualizing. This is the truth. There are only two kinds of people in the world, the saved and the lost. Those who will be with Jesus when they die, and those who will be in hell. Which one will you be?
